If the game asks you for a double before it has taken its first roll, what is one to think. This game ALLOWS you to win and determines the outcome before your first roll. Not worth the time to play because, skill, planning, and strategy are not factors. And without out at least that, whats the point. Save your time and money.

Great interface. Very good AI play. Connectivity issues prohibit five star ratings. Online play is unstable. Please fix connection problems and problems staying connected. Specifically, cant connect to friends sometimes, even though they are willing and able. Also, Online games sometime abort with no warning (says opponent forfeited on both ends). Overall best backgammon game Ive tried, but connection issues need to be fixed for online play. Please consider improvements for online play. Fix that and get five stars easy! Acey-Deucy mode would be great, too!

If you are considering this app for playing against the computer as I did, dont wast your money. The computer is an amateur who makes stupid moves leaving points exposed. It may be worth while for online play, but thats not what I bought it for.

Terrible. Game play is so bad it makes you want to kill yourself. Slow. Annoying to play. And full of stupid bugs, like no way to not accept another game without being penalized. TOTAL GARBAGE!

Dice rolls are not random as advertised . Its the only reason I purchased the game. Ive played thousands of online matches and theres no way its random . Just because you have a higher ELO doesnt mean you roll doubles left and right and pull off the most ridiculous comebacks that mathematically impossible . Its not just a few occasions but over 40. So please stop advertising the random dice rolls . Its absolutely not.

Since the upgrade, the dice are broken. In the last 12 matches, I tracked my opponents and they rolled 70% doubles. Somebody has figured out how to beat the system.

Really like this game and play it often off line. The computer is easier to beat since the last upgrade but is still challenging.

The color scheme is tough to stare at. Also the chips dont stand out. Stopped playing solely due to that.

This used to be a great game. However, a couple of updates ago that all changed. Now the game cheats. If it needs one specific roll of the dice, it will roll what it needs. If you get too far ahead, it will roll itself doubles (as many as 5 or 6 in a row) while giving you an ace/two or the only available roll that will leave you exposed (and then, next roll the game will roll what it needs to put you on the bar). Ive had this game for years but no longer play it as it is simply no longer fun.

This app does not work on my iPad mini.I purchased the premium version and every time I try to play I either get refused or disconnected from the server. I have written to iTunes support and ask them for a refund.

Overall the app looks good & is entertaining but even using Random.org dice the computer is a lot more lucky than I ever am. Especially if it either gets far behind or far ahead.

This game should not be purchased until the programmer fixes the bug that allows resigning to prevent gammons. It is frustrating to play for a gammon only to have the opponent resign and only lose what is on the cube. Do not patronize until they fix this bug.

I think the game is a little clunky and the dice rolls take some time . the computer has an amazing amount of doubles. Like every other roll. This is ridiculous. Something that could not happen in real life . I wish I could get my money back.

Wish I had read the reviews. $5.99? Really? Graphics are pitiful. Options are pitiful. Online does not work. Cumbersome. Hands down worse app I have ever purchased. How do I get my money back?????
